Standing for “specialty outstanding food innovation,” the sofi Awards have celebrated excellence in specialty food and beverage since 1972, recognizing products that demonstrate exceptional quality, flavor, and innovation.

Among more than 1,000 entries evaluated by an expert panel of specialty food buyers through a rigorous blind tasting process, just 75 products receiving the highest marks advanced as Gold Award Finalists. Products were judged on flavor, appearance, texture, aroma, ingredient quality, and innovation.

Earlier this year, Carrot Cake Almond & Walnut Butter earned a prestigious Good Food Award, while Vanilla Latte Almond Butter took home the Grand Champion Prize at the North Carolina Specialty Food Association's 2026 Best in Taste Awards.
